Remarks: Beautiful old lady on display at Gatow. Gatow is a former RAF station, played a part in the Berlin Airlift and is now a Luftwaffenmuseum. A great lot of aircraft are on display, you can walk around for hours. And the best is, it is for free :-)
Remarks: Port side view of the front end of former RAAF English Electric built Canberra, A84-502, with head-on sun illumination. This aircraft was an RAF T.4, Delivered to the RAAF in May 1956 as WT492. On retirement, she went to RSTT Wagga as an Instructional Airframe. Acquired by HARS in Sep1989. Restoration of the aircraft was completed just before the ‘Wings Over Illawarra’ Airshow at Wollongong (WOL) in May2012. I first photographed this aircraft at Laverton Victoria, on 20Sep1964.
