Remarks: This is a F-14A-110-GR Tomcat with nose modex 114 on board USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) which visited the port of Palma de Mallorca on Xmas. 1986. It belongs to VF-14 Tophatters. Tail code AC (CVW-3). The carrier was deployed in the Mediterranean from August 18, 1986 to March 3, 1987
Remarks: CVW-3. AC-114 from VF-14 Tophatters on board CV-67 USS John F.Kennedy. This squadron operated Tomcats between 1974 and 2001. Now is named VFA-14 and flies F-18E

Tomcat belongs to VF-31 Tomcatters, although its two tails have solid red colour without the popular Felix the Cat painted on them. VF-31 stayed with Forrestal between 1985 and 1992, (one year after this carrier was decommisioned). a/c stricken 30.09.1999
