Remarks: The Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) or Dhruv as its called on static display at Aero India 2013. This aircraft belongs to the Indian Army Aviation Corp.
Remarks: The Sarangs Helicopter Demo team, officially the 151 Helicopter Unit, based out of Air Force Station, Sulur are among the only four helicopter acrobatics team in the world.
The Team flies four modified HAL Dhruv MkIII's. The team was formed in October 2003 and will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year.
Remarks: The Aero India 2013 Show-Opener Demo was performed by three Indian Army Dhruvs simulating a Jeep (Gypsy) & Commando drop in a Combat Zone. You can see all the the other 2 Dhruv's in the background carrying the Commandos.

Vijay Diwas (Victory Day) is commemorated every 16 December in India as it marks its military victory during the Indo-Pak War of 1971! Seen here is the Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv, a utility helicopter developed and manufactured by India's Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). Dhruv was first announced in November 1984. The ALH was designed with assistance from MBB in Germany. The Dhruv first flew in 1992.
