Remarks: Looking down to the impressive dam called 'grande dixence' during a steep turn. The dam is located in southern Switzerland in the Valaisian Alps close to Sion and is still today the tallest gravity dam in the world.
Remarks: A 1972 Piper Seneca used for flight training appears to have had a left main gear failure at the Chilliwack Airport. Could have been a blown tire that caused it. Some prop damage is visible. The plane ended up quite a ways out into the infield grass. Her first time on the database. Hopefully not her last. My 300th upload to JP.net
Remarks: This airplane was manufactured in 1973 and registered in the U.S. as N15853. Later was sold to Germany as D-GAHN. In 1978 was brought to Israel as 4X-CAL by "Elrom Aviation". Later was sold to "Ofek Aerial Photography", and later was sold back to "Elrom Aviation".
Since 1989 this airplane was ended his life in the air.
The remains are in "Be'er Sheva Teyman" as one can see in this sad photo.
I apologize about the thorns that hide some of the airplane, but it was the best I could do for photography.
