Remarks: Replicated Robins! Rare low res photo of Robin R-2160s VH-SXY and VH-SXZ, taxy in pouring rain at the washed-out Schofields Air Show (held at HMAS Nirimba) on 20Mar1983. These were two of three Black/Gold Robin R-2160s in Australia at the time. The other one was Registered VH-XXY. VH-SXY (Cn C196) was Built by APRI in Canada in Aug 1981, and was still flying in Australia in 2007. VH-SXZ (Cn C197) was Built in Canada Sep 1982, and crashed in May 1986.
Remarks: Close Cropped front Port side view of Mission Bleu Ciel Robin R-2160 F-GAXP Code 218 taxying back after a handling display on 24Jun11. Photo taken at the 49th Salon International - Paris Air Show at Le Bourget. The aircraft has been modified with hand controls, for use by persons without mobility of lower limbs. The Pilot (a young lady) performed a creditable handling display in this Canadian built aircraft. (I saw a Robin R-2160 in Australia in the 1990s Registered VH-SXY).
