Remarks: SX-300 #42. These rare high performance kit planes gather annually at Spruce Creek for a fly-in, joining the four or five SX-300s based on the field.
Remarks: Another new SX-300! This is the tenth SX I've photographed at Spruce Creek, almost a quarter of the worldwide fleet. Eighty kits for this high performance single were produced, but only 48 sets of landing gear were ever made. There are 34 finished SX-300s on the US register.
Remarks: One of nine SX-300s which flew into Spruce Creek in late March. The nine aircraft which flew in make up more than a quarter of the total SX-300s in the US.

Remarks: One of five or so SX-300s based at Spruce Creek. This very high-performance kit is popular at 7FL6, while quite rare elsewhere in the US. Only 43 are currently on the US register.
Remarks: Who is flying the plane? The left seat occupant of this SX300 appears to be busy video-taping while the plane blasts down the runway on takeoff.
Remarks: This bright yellow Swearingen is Ship #2 in a four ship formation of SX300s that regularly flies out of Spruce Creek. This group ("Red Flight") is made up of N70SX, N350G, N6L, and is led by N53SX.
