Remarks: A special day as Mount Cook Airline returns to Mount Cook Airport on schedule for the first time in 10 years. Its routing of CHC-MON-ZQN return was a 6 week trial over the summer to see if it was viable to return to MON on a yearly seasonal basis.
Remarks:Mount Cook 206 enroute NPE-AKL over the massive Lake Taupo with the township seen just behind the prop. You can see the reflection of the aircraft on the engine!
Remarks:Mount Cook 205 seen about to pull into the bay after the short 1 hour flight from Auckland. This would soon fly me back to AKL on my way home to Australia.
