Remarks: Well... what can i say... the light at the end of my photo session that day was just amazing. The sky stayed clear and the light during the last hour was just golden, as can be seen here. I was also lucky enough to catch one of the few remaining 737-800's from JAL Express in the older livery. This was the perfect end to a great day's photography. (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)

Remarks: Just a reminder for spotters planning a trip to Asahikawa, the observation deck is now opened only for summer, just like the one at CTS. IMO, the deck provide some very beautiful shots in the morning with the snow capped mountains as backdrop, such a shame. Photo taken at the park beside the terminal.

Remarks: I managed to catch this bird departing and arriving that day and then arriving again! This time i caught it arriving from the new viewing deck on top of the new International terminal. It's quite far but a great location to shoot arrival traffic! (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
