Remarks: Top-side view of Temora Aviation Museum’s Meteor F.8 VH-MBX (Named: Halestorm, and painted as RAAF 77 Sqn A77-851). Photo taken at the Temora Showcase Day on 16Feb2013. The silver livery looks great against the clear blue sky. Built in 1950 for the RAF as VZ467, this aircraft did not serve with the RAAF. This is the World’s only airworthy F.8 (single-seat) Meteor, flown on this day (as usual) by Alan Clements.

Remarks: Taxying in at the RAAF 90th Anniversary Air Pilgrimage. Built for the RAAF as A20-653. Purchased by CAC for conversion to Ceres April 1960, stored stripped. Sold November 1963, restored 1970-75. First flight 4 December 1975. Various owners including loan to Airworld Museum, Wangaratta 1988-99. With the Temora Museum since October 1999.
