Remarks: After Hong Kong Airlines ceased its operations to Gatwick, all 3 aircraft were placed into temporary storage at the airport while the airline figured out what to do with the aircraft. All 3 aircraft have now been leased out to parent company Hainan Airlines. B-LNK was the last aircraft to leave Gatwick.
Remarks: Normally an early morning arrival, this one was diverted to Manchester due to fog at Gatwick this morning. Arriving here in the late afternoon this A330 is fitted out in an all-business class configuration for a daily Gatwick-Hong Kong service. Painted in a hybrid Hong Kong/Hainan Airlines colour scheme.
Remarks: After a fog diversion to Manchester and back, and with a normal arrival time of 05:55am, flight CRK875 makes a welcome sunny afternoon arrival. This aircraft features business class only seating. Arriving runway 26L.
Remarks: Flight CRK875 normally arrives and departs in darkness, so today due to a fog diversion to Manchester this morning. Had the rare opportunity to photograph it in daylight when it reposition back to LGW at 2.45pm.
