Remarks: Scan from Slide. In the good old days at MAN when you could walk on all the piers. Regular charter visitors, the Air Malta B737 leased from Transavia and the Spantax DC9
Remarks: [kODAK 100] Reaching its stand next to former Terminal B. Taken from a provisional car park which became the best spotting spot during the summer of 1994
Remarks: Transavia 737 PH-TVE (cn 20944/408) takes off for a steep climb. As a youngster I spent a lot of time at the “Kaagbaan”. When I first saw a 737 landing there (Lufthansa) Transavia still had its thundering Caravelles which were appropriately called T-bird. Transavia had a thing with loudness, because their first aircraft ever were the beautifully roaring DC-6’s, also named T-bird. Sad to say that in 1986 propliner music was already becoming a relic from the good old past.
