Remarks: One of my very earliest aviation shots and one of an aircraft type we sadly no longer see much of. The 732 was a regular at my little local airport when I started shooting and I managed 8 flights on them before Ryanair took them out of service, so I'll always have a soft spot for these noisy old beasts.
Remarks: No, Gulf Air is not downsizing and expanding to Brazilian summer destinations. Florianopolis is amog the first destinations served with this bird painted with the controversial Gulf Air look-a-like colour scheme. Looks fantastic if you ask me and this for sure a very welcome visitor.
Remarks: The End of an Era. CC-CQT representing all the 737-200 on LAN's Fleet, made its Last Flight on LAN Airline. The Boeing 737-200 entered on LAN Fleet in the year 1980 and since then, has done a loyal service until may 26, 2008, when they were officially retired from LAN's service. In This Historical moment, CC-CQT receive a water wall salute from the SEI truck at SCEL. Dedicate to all the 737-200 Fans and to my SCEL ATC friends.
