Remarks: Songbird 60 from DAY. This 737 used to wear the bare metal Western scheme.
Remarks: Looks like a generic brand 737, can't they even get a logo or something? "Songbird 2511" landing from Atlantic City.
Remarks: SkyKing Airlines "Songbird 3073" rolling out on RWY 5 after arrival from Richmond Int'l (KRIC). This aircraft is a recent addition (10/4/2011) to the airline and is being leased from Aersale Corporation. This aircraft was originally with Western Airlines in 1986, then Delta Air Lines from 1987 until 2006. It was in storage for the past 5 years.
Remarks: The 737-300 is no longer in service with DL. Glad I got a pic of one before they were removed from service.
Remarks: A slow taxi down Mike as it will be a considerable wait for a gate. [FUJIFILM FINEPIX S3000]
Remarks: N307WA on short final for ATL.
Remarks: (HP Photosmart 945)
Remarks: Short final RWY 34R.
Remarks: Still hoping for a turn at the wash rack, or maybe a new application of paint - here's Delta flight 1001 (Boeing 737-347) from SLC to SJC, moments away from touching down on 30L at KSJC.
Remarks: Sure, it's an ex-Western, and it came off the assembly line in 1986, but the old Delta livery makes it look like it belongs in the 1970s. An interesting variation in paint schemes.
