Remarks: Scanned from Fuji slide. Taken from the spectator terrace. Delivered to Laker as G-GSKY in March 1979. In February 1982, joined British Caledonian (and their Charter division). Flew with Cal-Air from October 1985 and Novair from January 1989. Withdrawn from use in late 1990 before undergoing freighter conversion and becoming N591LF with World Cargo. Joined FedEx in November 1994 as N40061.
Remarks:FedEx 906 Heavy from Memphis just arrived. I was sitting in
the gate area drinking soda when I saw a massive purple object rush behind the windows...I sprinted across the terminal to capture it!
