Remarks: The centerpiece of Tom Duffy's collection of restored aircraft. This A/C while airborne was involved in an onboard fire, and was totally destroyed upon landing at KMIV on 07 March 2009. No fatalities, pilot suffered minor burns.
Shown here arriving for "WW-II Weekend" at KRDG on 06/06/2008. A real loss not being able to see this beautiful A/C any longer.
Remarks: TBM-3 "Avenger" shown folding it's wings upon arriving at KRDG and taxiing to a parking spot for the annual "WW-II Weekend held at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum.
