Remarks: This aircraft was delivered to the Royal Australian Navy as WH588 Mar52 and was struck off charge Sep63. It raced in the 86 Reno Air Races placed 8th in the Unlimited Silver race with a speed of 356.40 mph. It was sold to Paul Morgan, UK, Dec97, and was registered as G-EEMV. Remarks: This aircraft was delivered to the Royal Australian Navy as WH589 Mar52 and was on charge until Sep63. It went through a series of owners such as Ormond Haydon-Baillie (CF-CHB, G-AGHB) and Spencer Flack, when it was involved in a crash in Jun79. The remains went through a number of owners before becoming a composite rebuild.
