Remarks: The IAR-824 (originally known as the ICA IS-24) was a utility aircraft built in Romania in the 1970s. A small number were built, with five going to Romanian Airclub for training and glider towing, including this one, pictured before being dismantled and transfered to Craiova for storage.
Remarks: Delivered to KLM on 30 June 1989 as PH-KLI. Flew later with Air Littoral first as F-OGQB (March 1990-June 1990) and later as F-GIDM (June 1990-March 1992). Flew again with KLM first as F-GIDM (March 1992-November 1992) and later as PH-KLI (November 1992-March 1997). Transferred to Air UK as G-UKFR in March 1997. The name Air UK changed in to KLM uk in January 1998. KLM uk merged with KLM Cityhopper in March 2003. Registration changed back to PH-KLI in August 2003. The last flight of this fokker was on 21 October 2009. After that it was stored at Amsterdam Schiphol, Netherlands. Scrapped between November 2009 and February 2010 at Amsterdam Schiphol, Netherlands.
