Remarks: Not something you see in your local supermarket's car park every day. The aircraft had an engine failure the day before and landed about a mile away. It was then going to be towed overnight to Prestwick Airport (home base) but there wasn't enough time before the traffic got busy. So it is parked up waiting for the small hours before resuming its tow back to base, about 4 miles as the crow flies but double that going by road.
Remarks: 'Salmon Thirty Salmon' on final approach to runway 24 at LAX. Or as a fellow screener/photographer would say.... 'Seven Salmon Seven' on final approach! hahaha (1dmkii/100-400LIS)
Remarks: American Airlines triple 7 heavy on short finals to LAX in the ever changing light i experienced that day! Not good. The nearby suburbs of the LA airport area can be seen in the background. (1d2/100-400LIS)
