Remarks: I didn't even know I had this shot! Randomly going through a few old images I stumbled across this old beauty and I can't even remember taking it (although I have had several beers in the last 3 and a half years so that's not really surprising). Such a beautiful aircraft and it's a real shame they're a very rare site in the UK. I'm so happy I've had the chance to fly on one of these gorgeous planes!
Remarks: View of a pre-sunrise launch of the (claimed) largest Hot Air Balloon in the Southern Hemisphere, on 30June2006. I went for a one hour flight in this balloon, as a Birthday present from my wife, and received Birthday greetings on my mobile phone in flight. The flight should have been 30 mins, but the first two landing attempts were aborted. The Koala and baby on the envelope are Cute.
Remarks: Kissing Cousins. Photo taken just before an early morning launch of two large Balloons operated (appropriately) by a Company called 'Hot Air'. VH-OKA at right is nudging VH-FLI at left - the (claimed) largest Hot Air Balloon in the Southern Hemisphere.
