Remarks: After a few days down south in Melbourne it was time for me to head to Cairns for 6 days. Now it's not a trip to Cairns without hiking up the hill and shooting some nice departures from high up on the hill! This Qantas was quite high before i managed to get the camera out but there are more photos coming with the traditional Cairns 'hill' viewpoint! (1dmkii/100-400LIS)
Remarks: Pacific Blue 738 lines up and begins rolling down the runway here in the morning light in Melbourne. I was lucky that i had 45mins or so free before my Qantas flight up to Cairns so found a nice spot in front of the windows at the end of the terminal and shot some photos! (1dmkii/100-400LIS)
Remarks: Qantas's "City of Orange" is rolling down the runway at Melbourne and is just lifting up it's front nose gear to make it's way back to Sydney. It was nice to grab this capture during the very early morning light. (1dmkii/100-400LIS)
Remarks: Summer is usually the best time of the year to take photos of basically anything in Hong Kong...try taking pictures from HAECO in the winter, you will love the haze.
