Remarks: On a cold, wet and generally horrible day in late November where would you rather be... at home or stuck on the side of a mountain in mid Wales? Well as you can see from this pic i was doing the latter. RAF Alpha Jet comes through the valley at tremendous speed! With the conditions i was left to go for panning shots. The details for this shot are... ISO640/1-160th/F7.1 @ 400m. Thankfully i managed to grap a sharp one! (1dmkii/100-400LIS)
Remarks: I had to sprint about 200 yards to get this shot. I saw the A380 cross LAX at 10,000 feet on a diagonal and start to make the turn to base. By the time I parked my car at the Proud Bird restaurant I had about 30 seconds to get into position and take the shot. This is the result: All 22 wheels of this monster are about to touchdown on 25L.
