Remarks: Polar taxiing to 07R for takeoff on a hazy morning. N452PA now carries the Polar/DHL scheme. Note the Air Tahiti A340 parked at HAECO in the background. Definitely one of the more exotic airlines to have visited this airport (only for maintenance).
Remarks: Here is a photo of 18305 when it used to wear the pleasant and peaceful-looking "Butterfly Orchid" special scheme. This aircraft has been back in the standard scheme since beginning of 2011.
Remarks: NZ 744 about to roll for takeoff on a hazy morning. The AKL-HKG-LHR service used to be operated by the jumbo before being replaced with the 772ER. Unfortunately from next March the HKG-LHR portion of the route will be dropped due to poor loads thanks to the challenging economy & stiff competition.
