Remarks: (Del 12/64) lined up on Rwy 33 for a Twy Juliett intersection departure in formation with A4-234 which is moving into position behind. Both aircraft were in service with 38SQN here at Exercise Talisman Saber 2009. The Caribou was retired from RAAF service in late 2009 however the two 'Bou pictured in this shot have been acquired by the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) and 210 remains airworthy as a flying museum piece.
Remarks: On final approach to Rwy 33 with the callsign "Vulcan 546" after completing a sortie during Exercise Talisman Saber 2009. This awesome machine is serves with Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron Fourteen (HM-14) and is based out of Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia. The MH-53's of the "World Famous" Vanguard were easily the highlight of TS09!
Remarks: (Built 1964) touching down on Rwy 33 using the callsign "King 32" at the conclusion of another sortie in support of Exercise Talisman Saber 2009. This Combat King is based with the 71st Rescue Squadron at Moody AFB and with nose art like this we're most grateful for them making the long journey to Australia to take part in TS09.
