Remarks:Golf Alpha, SIA's very first A340-500 is seen here returning from an air-test as SQ8895. It seems like it was not that long ago that these 4-holers were delivered with much fanfare, coupled with the anticipation of the record-breaking non-stop flights to LAX and EWR. They will be retired by the end of this year.
Remarks: Cloudy skies accompany SQ38 as she taxies out for the 16h30min nonstop to Los Angeles. The end is near for these nonstops, however, and this will be the last RWY20 season to spot these A345s on departure taxi. 1/4s. panning.
Remarks:Whiskey Papa is on approach to RWY20R as SINGAPORE 637 from Tokyo-NRT. Great to see her again, having flown on her to Munich back in October 2012.
