Remarks: Hiller UH12 in the Queensland Air Museum's boneyard/storage section. This airframe is in fact predominantly ZK-HCQ with parts of VH-FFE and VH-FFT used in the ongoing rebuild.
Remarks: Ex- F-WOFD, F-BPNY, N26228, N29811 and finally VH-HIX. Manufactured as a Nord 262 in 1967. Converted to a Mohawk 298 in 1976. Withdrawn from use 1995.
Remarks: Nicknamed in Australia as "The Pig", the Piaggio was reasonably common in Australia and PNG. This example was never actually operated by Queensland Airlines, but was in fact imported for Associated Airlines as a corporate transport. It's later life was spent with a freight operator at Bankstown airport before retirement and donation to the Queensland Air Museum.
Remarks: Retired from service by Barrier Reef Airways with a total time of 2434 flying hours after less than 8 years of service. Not a very high utilisation.
Remarks: Fuselages of two unknown Embraer Bandeirantes used by the local Aircraft Engineer training school. The Bandeirante was once a very popular aircraft in Australia, although today the flying fleet consists of a handful of aircraft doing ad hoc RPT and charter work.
