Remarks: This historic and rare aircraft was built in 1934 in the UK and shipped to Australia. Registered as VH-UTI to a private owner on 18 April 1935. Eventually restored by the Challinor brothers and found its way into the Drage collection at Wangaratta. When that collection was sold off, it was acquired by Roy Fox who keeps it with his fleet of historic aircraft in NSW. Seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in.
Remarks: VH-SGA is an old friend from Tassie. Every summer they used do photo surveys. And every time, it seemed, they always wanted to be right where our RPT traffic wanted to be! Lots of fun in those days with no radar. This aircraft was registered new in Australia on 19 September 1973 to the Queensland Government (State Government Aircraft, get it?).
