Remarks: Diverted from DTW due to MSP closing down, this one was tricky to get through the fence. But in the background is N3229NW (A320) that came from SFO, and N675MC (DC-9-50) from MEM, and not pictured is N586NW (757-300) from MCO. At the time this picture was taken, it was -2F with a windchill of -24. Welcome to GFK! 1600 pixels Wide! First shot of this aircraft in the new colors.
Remarks: Brand new airplane stopping in the Forks from YYZ to show off to the school, here doing a max performance takeoff on 27L. The very empty airplane lifted off just past Bravo 1 (thats around 1500 feet of runway).
Remarks: Allegiant operates twice weekly service here to GFK, it's doing quite well, in fact a lot of it was to pull Canadian traffic which based on the amount of Manitoba cars here that day is quite a bit, NW already gets quite a few, but G4 to LAS gets a ton. Looked like a full load coming in on this lovely Sunday afternoon, G4 serves GFK on Sunday's and Thursday's.
Remarks: The sky in the background created an intereting effect on top of Bombardier's highly reflective silver, in the low setting sun up in North Country. First shot for JP.net
