Remarks: My 100th photo in the database. Overview of Muscat airport with the main runway 08-26, terminal and hangars visible in the center of the frame. The airport expansion work can be seen going on in full swing, with a new terminal and parallel runway slated to come up by 2014. Remarks: The quiet and clean departure pier at Muscat. Whilst it might not be big and modern like other hubs, due to to it's lack of 'intensity' it was a more enjoyable airport to spend an hour between flights.
