Remarks: I have passed this airport many times and haven't had a chance to photograph the lonely Cessna tied down on the field. Glascock Airfield was developed in early 1941; by the late 1940 nearly 15 aircraft were based at 98VA. Today the close proximity to IAD (roughly 2NM) makes operating from 98VA a challenging task.
