Remarks: Farther's Day surprise at Tampa. VIR 24 races down 18R for the short hop to KMCO. This was probably a diversion as the central Florida region had heavy thunderstorm activity that day. Even the light today was not for great photos.
Remarks: Taken from the grandstand at Biggin Hill 2009. Ths 747-400 flew with the Red Arrows to celebrate the 25th year of Virgin Atlantic. An this was also the opening day for Virgins brand new paint scheme.
Remarks: Very nice to catch the Special ''Lady Penelope'' livery on the Virgin 747 here at AMS, incoming for maintenance as VS811P from London Gatwick, the weather was poor as you can see.. [1200 pix]
