Remarks: Hanger floodlights glimmer off every type of surface on this freshly painted jet. Unfortunetly we all have yet to see how it really looks with the full sun. We're counting on the weather in YVR to be better than the three prervios cities. Sparkling status may be comprimised due to loads of de-icing fluid sprayed on prior to departure.
Remarks: Earlier today Air Canada showed off its brand new livery on two aircrafts to the cities of Toronto, Montreal and now Calgary. Vancouver is the last to receive the welcome. The blue is an unexpected color choice but the impressive fin design makes up for the rather mundane look.
Remarks: The first 21st century design for Air Canada arrives in Calgary. A nice closeup look at the pale winter blue tailfin during darkfall reveals more details and intricate patterns surrounding the Maple Leaf which itself is built from little red circles. My lips were the same colour as the plane during the time I took the shot. Very cold week!
Remarks: Wow the Olympus C750UZ being able to pull off such a wicked shot, I am stunned. Usually it causes me to steam with anger due to its tendency to chop off noses and tails caused by the delayed snapshot. Damm Point and Shoots.
Remarks: "Symphony of Voices" #134 rising off the ground to LBPIA. For me though, a symphony of something else was steadily crescending deep within my pants.
Remarks: A number of Ex-US Airways Fokker F-100s sit around the airport. This Platinum one may start flying soon. Fokkers are making a comeback in Canada.
Remarks: Spots at BFI are very similar to that of my home airport of YYC. You can get really close to the taxiway from spots at both airports. Which is awesome!
Remarks: Departing off in this bad weather. The kids on the Follow Me truck distracted by something more interesting than an Aurora taxiing by a rock's throw away.
