Remarks: My 1st ever catch of the Airbus 340-600 & the "Prettiest" bird in the sky taxies to its gate having arrived from LHR! I dedicate this picture to my friend, Vishal Jolapara, who like me, is in love with this bird! I would be sad when the few remaining airlines phase out the A340 in the next decade! I had hoped for this to be my 150th pic on JP!
Remarks: Scanned from Fuji slide. Originally delivered to BEA in July 1958. Seen here operating for Virgin with the name Dublin Lady, on lease from British Air Ferries (leased from January 1988 until May 1989). Later wore the registrations 3C-PBH, 3D-JAP and 9Q-CON. Last reported on the internet as in storage and for sale at N'djili, Kinshasa, DRC in 2008.
