Remarks: Joey, seen here on the way to Runway 6 in some awesome winter conditions. This is the sixth DC-10 off the line, first flew 3 August 1971 and spent her life with United as N1802U. She is the oldest example of the type in active [commercial] service.
Remarks: The fourth FDX wide body to depart the airport this morning pictured leaving 01R quite heavy indeed operating a non-stop to Memphis. This aircraft rotated significantly later than is common for these domestically operated dinosaurs.
