Remarks:Speedbird 142 holding short right in front of us, for nearly 15 minutes, as she begins her journey back home to London Heathrow International Airport. I was on my 50mm lens, and this is all I could fit in my lens. This was a bad start for her flight as she was pushed back from gate and was made to wait for 10-15 mins, then this delay in front of us, and again a delay of 10-15 minutes on Charlie Whiskey 1. Definitely an unhappy crew and passengers on this flight.
Remarks: [1400 px] Factory fresh bird delivered to 9W just 2-3 weeks prior to our airside spotting sessions! I offer my best wishes to all Jet Airways staff & management for having clinched the deal with Etihad & dedicate this picture to them!
Remarks: Aircraft belonging the 27Sqn of the IAF called "Flaming Arrows" and based at Gorakhpur. The SEPECAT Jaguar is defined as a deep penetrating strike aircraft by the Indian Airforce. Although retired by the British and French Air Forces following the arrival of Typhoon and Rafale, this aircraft is execpted to be in active service with the IAF in the forseeable future. It saw action in the Kargil war dropping bombs. Also visible is the Honeywell F125 engine which is going to be fitted on 120 Jaguars as part of an upgrade process to improve performance at medium altitudes.
Photo dedicated to fellow aviation enthusiast Bala Vignesh Medha whose knowledge of the IAF is just amazing.
Remarks: [1400 px] On board VT-SCE operating BOM-BLR, we are awaiting push back at 6:05 am for a scheduled 6:15 am departure form BOM. This is one of the earliest A319s delivered to Air India/Indian & still continues to wear a hybrid livery as seen here.
I dedicate this shot to Siddharth Bhandary who specializes in these cabin shots & this would not have been possible without studying his exif settings.
Remarks: [1200 px]#JustCantGetEnough of my favourite aircraft! I always wanted to see the A340-600 up close & VS gave me this opportunity twice in 2 days at DEL! My friend VJ would have loved this photo-op for sure!!
I always believed the A340-600 had 4 engines i.e. "4 engines 4 long haul"! How did this happen? Digital Manipulation? No! Just a simple Closeup!
Remarks:Lufthansa 761 operated by the Latest Queen of the skies, the Boeing 747-830 Intercontinental, is seen here holding on Charlie Whiskey 1 taxiway to give way for taxiing traffic entering into Charlie Whiskey 2. Today's flight is operated by Sachsen-Anhalt.
