Remarks: RAAF 37 Squadron C-130H A97-005 Cn 382-4785 did a Farewell flypast over Canberra on Friday 23Nov2012, before Retirement. The aircraft flew over Mt Ainslie, Anzac Parade, doing a half-orbit around New Parliament House, and back over the Australian War Memorial. The aircraft’s Special Livery was a Tail Logo, showing a Hercules flying into a Sunset, after 34 years Service. Aircraft shown passing Capital Hill, heading North. Note the person’s face visible in the rear (para) door, and the photographer on the flight deck.
Remarks: Awesome departure at the Monte Real Open Base, returning home (Montijo Air Base) after participating in the static display for the 60 years of the Portuguese Air Force!
