Remarks: An old 35mm photo taken by me when I was 10, so its pretty bad but a rare shot. This horrible crash left 5 dead including the ex. CIA director of that time. This crash hit the news all over the world.
Remarks: Photo 1 of 2: One of the lowest approaches i've witnessed on my 2 trips to SXM. Bearly missing the fence as the people underneath duck for cover.
Remarks: Rare aircraft and rare irisation effect. It was flight for MASkargo, no. 6151 from Amsterdam Schiphol to Kuala Lumpur Sepang Int'l via Tashkent Yuzhny. UL986 airway at FL290.
Remarks: Waiting to get parked after the ramp reopens once lightening subsides. The lightening equipment detected hundreds of hits within the fence during this storm. After about 30 minutes of watching it go I finally went out to take some pics. Quite a sight indeed. This strike was just outside the perimeter fence to the East.
Remarks: 8:46 AM enroute PHX-SJC. The most amazing effect I have ever seen. As we were breaking through the rainy clouds, the sun created an upside-down rainbow off our wing. I'm still speechless...
Remarks: My 2500th photo on JetPhotos.net. A 747 landing at SXM always draws a large crowd, especially at the point where the 747 is literally meters above your head. Hold your breath as the jumbo goes over your head.
