Remarks: B-LAD about to begin its takeoff roll. B-LAD was recently repainted into normal CX colours after carrying the “100th aircraft: Progress Hong Kong” special livery for about 6 years. This A330 was delivered to the airline already carrying the special livery.
I wish Cathay did something more eye-catching and memorable for their 100th aircraft but it was still nonetheless a very nice tribute for an impressive milestone.
The all-white -400 parked in the background, N548MD, is now flying for Orient Thai as HS-STC. It previously flew with CX as B-HKD and SQ as 9V-SMN.
Remarks: Just the usual A330-300 of Cathay Pacific? No! The 100th aircraft livery is removed lately! "CATHAY 110" final appraoch rwy 25R from Sydney in the afternoon.
