Remarks: It's Christmas day morning, -9 and bitterly cold. Stood at Manchester Airport all on my own :( with frozen fingers and toes, trying to catch anything that moved.
Was pleased when Singapore 773 took off in stunning early morning glow, managed a beacon bonus too.
Remarks: 1600px, the sun had just started to rise on the horizon. Saw this on approach while my camera was still in the bag. Had to rush and get the camera out and snap it (I am sure Aalok can vouch for how quick I can get that camera ready (PIA 777)).
