Taxiing to 07R holding point at the late afternoon .
First time I’ve managed to photograph a Jetstar Asia A320 with the Sharklets. They’ve been operating to Hong Kong since 2004, and their A320 fleet currently stands at 18 planes.
This frame was stored in November 2013, and up to that point had been flying for Korean Air since being delivered to them in January 1993.
Wifi might work great on Lufthansa's new 747-8is, but the large yellow antennas hanging above the planes aren't very attractive!
Cathay quite obviously dominate the landscape at Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok airport! The only non-Cathay aircraft in the photo is Dragonair, a fully owned subsidiary of Cathay!
I am glad to see the people who hitched a ride sitting on the roof of the A330 at least had hard hats and safety vests on. The occupational health and safety Nazis would definitely be pleased.
One of the many special colour schemes flown by airlines in China, almost all of them ugly in my opinion!
