Remarks: After the loss of TWA Flight 800, recovered pieces of the upper deck section of N93119 revealed 10 windows instead of 3; some wondered how this could be. As shown here, the airplane was constructed that way but 7 windows were plugged to conform with earlier 747s in TWA's fleet. The plugs broke loose upon impact with the Ocean surface.
