Remarks: The Qantas heavy outbound to JFK operating as flight QF 107 crossing directly above the airport at full altitude. Incredibly clear conditions today permitted easy reading of the under wing registration on this extended range jumbo. I will attempt to capture these birds as they pass over the next few months as this route will be soon slashed to an A332 instead of a jumbo. Photo taken at 420mm from the ground.
Remarks: This ex FedEx 10-30 thunders out 27L displaying a nice bank this morning after rotating at the 10,000 foot marker. This departure is burned in my memory as one of the few departures I've felt in my chest. Awesome!
Remarks: TN 7 holds short of the right runway having completed her descent over the desert from Paris as the OneWorld LAN 763 powers out 25R headed south of the equator. Many tails visible in this one. AMR 767, DL 744, and even the Grizzly from the F9 318 seems to be interested in all the action.
