Remarks: [1200px] Woooow!!! AWESOME! Big Jumbo roaring over my head!!! Unforgettable sight! Short finals to runway 27R with Love is in the Heir titles!
Remarks: [1200px] Here comes the Queen!!! Speedbird slowly approaching runway 27R. Look at those spinners and the reflections on her belly! This beauty is definetely the most beautiful plane sticking around! 747 rules! :)
Remarks: Sad news guys. This LET crashed on July 13th 2011 shortly after taking off from this same airport. The plane took off from Recife in a flight to Natal, then Mossoró. Shortly after takeoff the crew decided to return to the airport, probably due to a malfuncion on the plane (which was brand new). However, they failed to reach it and the plane crashed and exploded in a field near Boa Viagem beach, killing all the 16 people on board. My condolencies to the families and friends of the people who perished. May them rest in peace. RIP :/
Remarks: The more I see the A380, the more I like the 747....arriving on runway 27L, photo taken from Enfield Road Roundabout spotting location....I must admit, it was a lucky shot because it was taken in between a gap of two buildings, matter of 2 seconds and I wouldn't be able to get this one. I'm so dumb, I should have got the EVA Air B777-300ER in this same position but I didn't :/
Remarks: Heavy Metal tarmac pounding! Early morning arrival of the Qantas A380 on Runway 27L. The second Qantas plane I've got in less than 10 minutes, the first one was a 747 (VH-OJO). Dedicated to Alessandro Iglesias, big fan of Airbus gadgets, tablets and video games airplanes! hauahuahuahuaha
Remarks: [1200px] The giant 777 comes in to land on runway 27R! Check out the huge engine fans and the pilots at the cockpit. I don't like this kind of crop very much but I think this photo is an exception. Taken from Enfield Road Roundabout spotting location. Dedicated to my friend and spotter Haroldo Fiuza Júnior :D
Remarks: [1200px] Yes, I must admit, it's huge....but sorry fans, this is UGLY! Boeing 747 is way better! Approaching runway 27L from Dubai. Taken from nearby Hatton Cross subway station.
Remarks: [1600px] Air Finland 757 pushing back....crazy looking tug! This 757 is operating for Air Finland but it's in Allegiant Airlines colors and operating without titles.
Remarks: Finally i've got it! The A340 of TAP. I've always missed it when it comes to FOR...Named ''Fernão Mendes Pinto'', delivered to TAP in 1994. Taxiing to a remote stand for boarding I guess.
Remarks: Descending to Recife with nice sunset sky and crazy effects on the city lights, due to the low shutterspeed! Photo taken with tripod. Sorry for the grain.
Remarks: Amazing light for this B737-700 arriving at the gate! I hate spotting in Recife not oly due to the terrible observation deck but also because the sun goes to the other side of the runway during afternoon, so the terminal gives backlit all afternoon. But you can get a good light like this only when the plane turns to park at the gate. Lucky shot indeed.
Remarks: Beautiful sunset colors, nice vortexes....and presenting the new Webjet golden paintscheme, which is only visible during sunrises and sunsets. Now that's class! :D
