Remarks: Another of BA Connect’s 28 ERJs taxiing after landing on Manchester’s Runway 24. This aircraft was delivered in November 1998. Like all BA Connect aircraft it is currently undergoing change of ownership to Flybe pending fleet disposal. (400D, anti-shake Sigma 80-400 & fluid-head tripod)
Remarks: MBK was delivered new in 1999 but changed to its current registration in 2003. With the acquisition of BA Connect by Flybe, the Manx-based 28-aircraft Embraer fleet is sadly scheduled for disposal by the end of 2009. The CAA website lists transitional ‘ownership’ status, showing BA Connect alongside the Flybe address in Exeter. I’ve photographed this aeroplane on a number of occasions at Birmingham - it is seen here taxiing in after landing on Manchester’s Runway 24.
