Remarks: We were cruising along with the AB A330 until the Air France 744 just zoomed passed both the airbii as if we were standing still.Encouraged by the speed of the 744 the A330 eventually went on to pass us too. Shot taken from Lufthansa A340-300 D-AIGC "Star Alliance".
Remarks: Looking down to the impressive dam called 'grande dixence' during a steep turn. The dam is located in southern Switzerland in the Valaisian Alps close to Sion and is still today the tallest gravity dam in the world.
Remarks: after two holding circles over Pulau Karimunbesar we're finally on approach to Changi's runway 02C, where a wonderful rainbow welcomes us to Southeast Asia.
