Remarks: Gear just starting to come up on departure from Bundy's Runway 14 for a display practice at the Wide Bay International Airshow. This 1988 Albatros was delivered to the Ukraine Air Force and operated as 'Yellow 51'. In 2006 it was acquired by Kim Rolph-Smithh's Warbird Aviation Australia at Archerfield and was registered VH-VRO on 29 November that year.
Remarks: Backtracking, Runway 14 on arrival at the Wide Bay International Airshow. This aircraft was built for the RNZAF as NZ6370 and made its first flight in the UK on 17 Oct 1972. It was shipped to NZ and reassembled at Ohakea, making its first flight there in Jan 1973. In June 1993 it was sold in Australia and shipped to Bankstown. It was stored for some years before being restored, and currently operates on warbird adventure flights out of Port Macquarie.
