Remarks: A beautifully restored T-6G out of Memphis, TN visited TRI with the CAF's FiFi and Diamond Lil. I was told that the crew chief for FiFi and Lil restored this T-6.
Remarks: "FiFi" climbing away from runway 23 at TRI. After takeoff they made a sharp turn to the south, came back by for a flyby over the field, then headed for CLT with the B24. Great visit, guys! Keep up the great work!
Remarks: what a nice way to end the summer, with a visit from the CAF's gorgeous B-29 "Fifi"...a shy bird at night, she's not photographed much outside of the daylight hours. in black and white for a little nostalgic touch...
Remarks: rotating off runway 23 at TRI on a wonderfully clear summer afternoon...this summer's been awesome, i can't wait to get back home next summer....but jacksonville is nice too...
Remarks: Blue Ridge 6208 from CVG is taxing on Alpha to the gate after landing on runway 23. This is one of the two ACA "Private Shuttle" aircraft that have yet to make it into Delta colors.
