Remarks: It was always my dream to be able to travel on Concorde but unfortunately that never happened, thankfully due to them all being preserved i was able to get on board 'Alpha Golf' in Seattle and take this shot of it's cabin. The Concorde is without a doubt BA's most iconic passenger aircraft. It screams beauty, elegance and luxury yet has a simple and quite understated cabin. Here you can see the 2-2 seating configuration and the nice subtle grey leather seats, showing their age with the slight coating of dust. I can only imagine the feeling of being sat in these seats and watching the screen at the front of the cabin read 'Mach 2'. (5D2/17-40F4L)
Remarks: Well this was nice to find in the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field, i love 727's and i wasn't photographing when these AA ones were active so it was nice to be able to add one to my collection here. Here is the nose section of this old 727 sitting here in the sun. It's years outside is causing it's paint to fade however the nice shine of the chrome remains. (5D2/17-40F4L)
Remarks: The new 'United' departs 27L as CO29 to Newark, New Jersey. While i will miss the old United liveries, especially the battleship grey one, i do like this new livery and am glad it keeps the bits from Continental that i love. (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: United 757 departs 27L at speed and heads back to the USA as CO111 to Newark, New Jersey. Love getting these american based 75's this side of the pond! (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: American 767-300 departs 27L as AA173 to Raleigh Durham, North Carolina. Looking fantastic in the autumnal sunshine. Surprised to see no winglets on this aircraft... (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: Now this is what aviation photography in Vegas is all about! 1's departures in beautiful morning light with the famous Vegas strip as the backdrop. Before our flight to Seattle we managed an hour's shooting and was gifted shots like this one... Here is a Southwest 737-300 departing out of KLAS leaving a huge amount of jetwash in it's wake. In the background the MGM, New York New York, The Monte Carlo and even the Hooters hotel/casino's can be seen. One of my favorite spots to photograph from in the world i have to say. (7D/100-400LIS)
Remarks: The big blue Korean 777 makes it's way out to depart Sea-Tac for the hop back to Seoul. I couldn't work out what was bluer that day, the fuselage of the aircraft of the sky. Whichever way i was happy with both as the Korean looked fantastic. (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
