Remarks:[1000] This is my 1000th picture here! I would like to say thank you to everyone who I met on my spotting way, especially to all members of EPGD Spotters team - without you my adventure with aviation photography wouldn't be so fascinating! Also regards for great friends from other cities and countries, as well as for the autorities of Port Lotniczy Gdańsk Rebiechowo - EPGD airport - for many facilities for spotters.
Dziekuje!
I’ve taken my very very first aviation picture in 1998 at Heraklion Nikos Kazantzakis airport (I was 7 then). In october 2007 I went to the airport with my friends just to take a look at the aircrafts and take some pictures, but I didn’t know that this would be such a great way to spend my free time later on!
In 2009 after 6 changes of cameras, I got a Canon 400D and then my adventure went faster. Now I have 40D and everytime I am at the airport or inside a plane, I have to take at least one picture ;-)
My life target is to be an Airline Transport Pilot, now I'm during PPL(A) training. I can’t imagine my world without aviation!
Many thanks for screeners for your work, you are great!
In this picture you can see one of two Klimow RD-33 engines installed on every Mig29. This is powerfull powerplant that gives 49,42 kN thrust (81,4 kN with afterburner) which can speed up the plane up to 2445 km/h!
Poland has 31 Mig's29 located in two bases: Malbork AFB and Minsk Mazowiecki AFB. Malbork is located very close to the Tricity region (home base of EPGD Spotters), so the Migs are well-known by us ;)
Here right after flight, believe me, it was so hot inside!
