Remarks: Qantas 747-400ER VH-OEF in Singapore Changi Airport. It is unusual to see a 744ER here in Singapore, much less one with the special oneworld livery! Qantas usually sends the regular 744s to SIN.
Remarks: Close cropped front Stbd view of a Replica of QANTAS’ First aircraft, on static display on a rainy day at Canberra Airport in March 1984. The Replica represents Avro 504K G-AUBG, although the Registration is not visible on the replica. The occasion was the Canberra Aero Club Open Day, and it took an Airshow to break the drought! This replica is now on display in the QANTAS Domestic Terminal at Sydney Airport. (QANTAS = Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Service.) Low res photo.
Remarks:"Port Douglas" rolls past on t'way charlie in the early morning light bound for Melbourne as QF409 wearing the brand new Wallabies scheme in support of the Australia Rugby Union team as they set out to defeat the UK and Irish Lions in the upcoming 2013 Lions Tour. Nowhere near as good as Air New Zealand's aircraft that supports their rugby team!
Remarks: (1200 pix) Bert overflies Changi Beach on approach to runway 20R with starboard strobe blazing. She follows her diminutive sister, Kangaroo Island, the One World liveried A332, which has just landed from Toulouse on her delivery flight. Hallelujah!
