Wollongong/Albion Park is the home of HARS, whose large hangars you can see near the intersection. Not far to the west is the dramatic escarpment of the Great Dividing Range.
Final for Runway 21 at HMAS Albatross for a visit to the excellent Fleet Air Arm Museum, which is the large white hangar at the left hand edge of the photo.
Great viewing platform located at 58°53'21.54"N. 5°37'56.48"E . About 15 min walk from terminal. Platform can be easily spotted from airport shuttle on the way to to the city.

I never would have thaught to see an Emirates aircraft at the gate here in Curacao even though on this photo it was a cargo fuel stop. You can see dust at sea in the background too.
